StandBy Is Shutting Down: Please Download Your Data

To all StandBy users,

Thank you for using StandBy. This is AI-zen Inc.

We regret to announce that StandBy will end its service on October 31, 2026.
The mobile app, the web dashboard, and the API and MCP server will all be discontinued at the same time. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has used StandBy.

There are three things we ask you to check before the service ends.

1. Paid plans have already been stopped automatically

If you are subscribed to the Pro or Premium plan, your subscription has been stopped automatically as of now, and you will not be charged again. You do not need to cancel it yourself.

2. All data will be deleted on November 5. Please download anything you want to keep

At 23:59 JST on Thursday, November 5, 2026, we will delete all data, including lifelogs, transcriptions, notes, DMs, tasks, and audio.
Deleted data cannot be restored. If there is anything you want to keep, please save it before then by following these steps.

  1. Go to https://platform.stand-by.ai/login and sign in with the same account you use in the app
  2. On the settings page, press the 「データをダウンロード」 (Download data) button
  3. A ZIP file (JSON and Markdown) will be downloaded. Keep the browser open until it finishes

If you have a lot of data, we recommend using Chrome or Edge on a computer.
Other browsers may split the download into several ZIP files. The ZIP files are not encrypted, so please store them somewhere safe.

3. Why we are ending the service, and about data breaches

StandBy holds highly personal data, such as the audio of your daily conversations and records of your activities.
Data breaches have become increasingly common across many companies and services, and the standard required to keep this kind of data safe keeps rising every year.
After considering whether we could sustain that level of protection over the long term, we decided to end the service.

To be clear, we have not found any data breach or unauthorized access involving StandBy to date. This shutdown is not the result of any incident. We will continue to manage your data properly until the day it is deleted.
